This is my mock-up of this classic scene just for the fun of it. It is not my intention to supplant live orchestras. It is more of a challenge to see how close I can get to the original. The score is available for purchase at Omni Music Publishing. The music begins at the place the red slippers appear under the house.

Can you buy this? I love Tosca, but just want a copy of the music without the words. Is it available?
Gav, do you have software by which you can download RUclips videos for free? That’s how you do it.
@@mocmus I worked it out. Thank you! Watched it in Covent Garden on Monday with Russell Thomas and Angel Blue.
@@GavCritchleyawesome!!
Wonderful way to appreciate Wagner's glorious orchestration.
Thank you. I’m currently working on Götterdämmerung, but I just started. It will be awhile!! 😅

Good. Would be better, you've used cymbal clashes as written!
Where? I followed the score exactly!
Exzellent, great work! A version of Chenier would be great!
Thanks! Chenier is. Good idea. Love that. I’m finishing up La Traviata currently.
@@mocmus Great, looking forward to that. May I suggest other wishes? Puccini: Manon Lescaut, Tabarro, La Fanciulla del West. Wagner: Tannhäuser, Tristan
Great, great work and fantastic tempi! Thanks so much!!!!
4:37 34:52
Wonderful, thank you!
God bless God loves you he gave his life for you God so love the world he gave his only begotten son that shall whoever believeth in him shall not perish but have eternal life-John 3:16 you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you -Philippians 4:13 no matter what situation your in amen amen
It reminds of Richard Strauss. It is a big step from rustic Verdi towards postromanticism.
Absolutely, I think Puccini is peak romanticism tbh. You could almost say Rachmaninoff is his successor, same sort of musical trajectory
28:34
Thank you. I like that section, too.
I’ll see what I can do.
Wow this is fantastic!! This is one of my all time favorite scores, truly cinematic beautiful. Would you be able to share the midi file for this? I’ve been trying to find a score or analysis of it online to see some of the chords and orchestration. Your work is really great, I’d be incredibly appreciative, thanks!
the cues in this track are bad It is not always clear and sometimes it feels like an extra beat is added
Sorry, yes, the reason for the extra beats is because the original song has them. We are used to taking them out nowadays.
@@mocmus ok thanks for the explanation
Hojo-toho! Now my dog and I can sing and howl to Brünnhilde’s battle cry!
Omg it is a wonderfull work thanks a lot 🎉
I vow should be the UK national anthem
Better than Jerusalem
Creepy
Yup 😅
Thank you for the stellar effort!
One of the best and timeless movies for all generations of all time.
@mocmus do you have the sheet music for the bagpipes
I may, I’ll look tomorrow.
I don’t have it, but I’ll write it out and let you know.
Im so happy you would do that thank you so much
You made only the first act? Or you are gonna make also the others
I’ll finish it in time. I wanted to see if the first Act was getting any attention before going further. For Verdi I’ve done the complete Aida and Rigoletto. Right now I’m working on finishing Act II of Siegfried. When I finish that I’ll take a breather from Wagner and go back to Verdi.
@@mocmus ok thank u so much your work is really great!
20:53
Do you have the XML?
No. There isn’t one.
Any possibility of reposting the whole opera as 1 file since the music carries from scene to scene?
I suppose, but it will be quite a large file.
Thank you. I've always wanted something like this.
This is a terrific resource for people and I hope you got a great deal of pleasure in creating and providing it for free to us all as well! A big thank you indeed!
Thank you so much! I love doing this as a lover of opera and my goal was to have it be useful, so again, a big thanks! I’m working on Rigoletto right now but then I need to go back and finish Siegfried. My goal is to do the entire Ring.
Love it Bob! Especially really enjoyed Scotsville!

@@mocmus Thanks very much!
Why did u decide to mix just SStS plus BBC? Did U use studio strings instead of BBC strings? or perhaps mix them together
It’s been awhile since I did this but I believe I used studio strings only with the brass etc. From BBCSO. The reason being at the time I liked the expressivity of SSS better than BBC. I liked the tone quality of SSS better. I’m a string player.
@@alanarmstrong6340 Thanx for this answer. I feel, I like SStS too - it was my first Spitfire library

I just loved this track..really beautiful except the last phrase. Would have been great if the chord was held on a trifle longer. Thank you.
I think I’ll extend it as you suggest. You are the second person to comment on that. Thanks!!
